And now all the details you need:
Build the Village Square First
The first thing you need to do is build the Village Square. This is the center of your village and where you will do all your upgrades. Without the Village Square, you can’t upgrade your village.
Here’s how to build it:
- Blueprint: You will get the blueprint for the Village Square after you’ve built a Campfire, Crafting Bench, and your first Shack.
- Materials: It costs 10 Wood and 10 Granite to build.
- Location: Try to place it on flat land to avoid problems with building. Avoid hills or valleys if you can.
- Keep in mind: When placing the Village Square, you can pick an icon and color for your village. Choose carefully, because you won’t be able to change them later.
Once you’ve placed the Village Square, your village is officially created, and you can start upgrading!
Open the Village upgrade menu
After building the Village Square, you can start upgrading your village by interacting with the Village Square itself. This will bring up a menu where you can check your village’s current status and upgrade it.
- Stand next to the Village Square and interact with it to open the Upgrade Village Menu. There are three tabs in the menu:
- Hub: Displays your village’s name, level, LEGO Fortnite biome, and upgrade requirements, as well as your Village Rating, which increases with building and decoration.
- Residents: Manages villagers and animals, showing their tasks and roles.
- Rewards: Shows rewards unlocked with each upgrade, including new recipes, villager slots, and special features like animals.
To upgrade, you need to collect different resources. The materials you need will increase as your village levels up, so you’ll need to gather a lot of resources.
Village Rating: This is a score that shows how developed your village is.
How to increase Village Rating in LEGO Fortnite
To raise your Village Rating, you need to:
- Build more structures: Adding new buildings or machines like Crafting Benches or Lumber Mills.
- Decorate: Place decorative items like furniture, plants, and lights.
- Farm and Craft: Farming crops and crafting items also helps raise your rating.

How many villages can you have in LEGO Fortnite?
In LEGO Fortnite, there is no strict limit on the number of villages you can create. You can build as many villages as you like, provided that you follow the rule about keeping a sufficient distance between each village. If you try to place a new village too close to an existing one, you won’t be able to place it.
A good strategy is to spread your villages across different biomes to maximize resource gathering and increase your overall productivity. Each village can serve a different purpose, such as farming, mining, or crafting, which helps optimize your progress in the game.
