If you are one of the people who understand the importance of learning how to stay warm in LEGO Fortnite, you already know there’s more to survival than just fighting enemies and gathering resources.

LEGO Fortnite biomes come with their own challenges. One of the biggest challenges is the temperature—whether it’s too hot or too cold. Extreme temperatures can slow you down and cause damage if you're not prepared.

How to stay warm in LEGO Fortnite: Fighting with the cold

In LEGO Fortnite, cold temperatures can damage your character if you don’t take the right steps. If you spend too much time in cold areas like the Frostlands, you’ll start moving slower, and your health will begin to drop. However, there are several ways you can stay warm and safe while exploring cold biomes:

  1. Stand near heat sources
  2. Eat Spicy Peppers
  3. Drink Snowberry Shakes
  4. Use heat-protective items
  5. Build Shelters

Need help? Here is an explanation for each one.

Stand near heat sources

One of the easiest ways to stay warm is to be near something hot, like a campfire or torch. These will help you stay warm in certain situations, but they won’t work if you're out in the snow.

  • Campfires: You can light a campfire to stay warm at night or when it’s raining. It’s great for short breaks, but it won’t help you in the snow.
  • Torches: Holding a torch gives you some warmth, and it’s useful when you’re walking around in cold areas.

Eat Spicy Peppers

If you want to stay warm for longer, you can eat Spicy Peppers. These peppers grow in the Dry Valley biome, and they give you cold resistance.

  • Spicy Peppers: Eating a Spicy Pepper will give you 2 minutes of cold resistance, which means you won’t freeze up in cold biomes for a short time.
  • Cooked Spicy Peppers: If you cook these peppers, you can make them last even longer. You can cook them into a dish for extra cold resistance.
  • Treasure Chests & Loot Llamas: Sometimes, you can find Spicy Peppers or seeds to grow in treasure chests or loot llamas. Always check these for extra cold protection.

You can also make a spicy burger by combining 1 spicy pepper, 1 meat, and 1 flour at a grill.

Drink Snowberry Shakes

Drinking Snowberry Shakes or eating Snowberries will also help you stay warm. These give you a temporary boost in cold resistance and help you explore freezing areas without getting hurt by the cold.

Use heat-protective items

To stay warm even longer, you can equip items like the Cool-Headed Charm or Inner Fire Charm. This item will give you protection from the cold for a longer time, allowing you to explore the icy biomes without worrying about freezing.

Build Shelters

If you need a quick way to stay warm, you can build a shelter. Use materials like Wood or Granite to create a small shelter that will protect you from the cold winds. This can be a life-saver if you need a break from the freezing temperatures.
