How to get a lightsaber in LEGO Fortnite

To get a lightsaber in LEGO Fortnite, you need to follow a few key steps that involve upgrading a Rebel Outpost. Here's a simple guide to help you through:

  • Begin with the Rebel Adventure Update: Your quest starts when you enter the Star Wars-themed update. Here, you meet
  • Captain Bravara who is crucial to your mission.
  • Use the Macrobinoculars: Captain Bravara hands you macrobinoculars. You use them to find the Rebel Outpost. Look for the blue rebel symbol to find your target.
  • Navigate to the Rebel Outpost: Once you locate it, make your way there. This part of the game might require you to travel and face some challenges.
  • Upgrade the Outpost: Upgrading the outpost is your main task. Here’s what you need to do:
    • Level 1: Just getting there and setting foot inside.
    • Level 2: Clear debris and start building. Set up a farm, make three beds, and gather pumpkins.
    • Level 3: Place a crafting bench and craft three shortswords.
    • Level 4: Build stables and provide a bed for creature Grrraaalf.
    • Level 5: Defeat ten stormtroopers and collect plastoid from them.
    • Level 6: Clear a space for the Rebel Workshop. Build it along with a bed for Myrnna and a workbench.
  • Receive Your Lightsaber: Once you complete these steps and reach Level 6, return to Captain Bravara. She will give you a lightsaber as a reward.

Can you get more than one lightsaber in LEGO Fortnite?

After you get your first lightsaber, you can luckily get more. Captain Bravara gives you Clearance Codes when you reach Level 6 at the outpost. These codes let you enter places called Imperial Bunkers. These bunkers are like caves and have several areas blocked by shields. You need to fight through groups of stormtroopers in each section.

After you clear the last section, you find chests. One of these chests will have another lightsaber. This means you can collect more than one lightsaber by helping the rebels and exploring these bunkers. Moreover, you can pick from a wide color palette. For example, you can go for Mace Windu's purple lightsaber if you wish!

How to use lightsabers in LEGO Fortnite

Using a lightsaber in the game is similar to using other close combat weapons like swords. You need to get close to your enemies to hit them. Lightsabers can also break down structures quickly. However, they don't give you the materials these structures usually provide. After you use a lightsaber for a while, it will need to rest for about 10 minutes to recharge. That is why you need to be very careful and strategic when it comes to using a lightsaber in LEGO Fortnite. You can still use other weapons while your lightsaber charges.

Are lightsabers still in LEGO Fortnite?

Even though the special Star Wars event has ended, lightsabers are still available in LEGO Fortnite. The official Fortnite website confirms that all weapons and buildings from the update are still in the game. This means new players and those who return to the game can still enjoy using lightsabers.

After you complete all the steps and upgrade the Rebel Outpost to Level 6, you get your lightsaber.  With your lightsaber, combat becomes more exciting and the game world becomes richer.
