In LEGO Fortnite, Marble is one of the most important resources you’ll need to level up your village and unlock new stuff. Whether you're upgrading your base, crafting gear, or unlocking new features, you’ll be grinding for Marble at some point. But you can't just pick it up anywhere – you'll need to know where to find it and how to collect it.

In this guide, we’ll break down why you should start farming Marble and show you the best ways to get it.

4 reasons to get Marble in LEGO Fortnite ASAP

Marble is a very important resource in LEGO Fortnite for a few key reasons.

1. Upgrading your village

As you move forward in the game, you’ll need Marble to upgrade your village. For example, Marble Slabs, which are made from Marble, are needed to upgrade your village to Level 7 and higher. If you don’t have enough Marble, you won’t be able to reach these higher levels and unlock new buildings or features for your village.

2. Crafting important items

Marble is also used to craft important items. You need it to make Marble Slabs, which are used for higher-level crafting and upgrading. These slabs are essential for making tools, stations, and other advanced resources.

3. Building key stations

You will need Marble to build certain stations in your village. For example, the Stone Breaker station, which helps turn raw Marble into Marble Slabs, is an important building for your progress. Without Marble, you can't build this station or make the slabs you need to upgrade your village.

4. Unlocking new content

The higher you level up your village, the more materials you need. Marble is one of these important materials that help unlock new items and features as you continue playing. Without enough Marble, you can’t unlock all the content available in the game.

In short, Marble is a key resource for upgrading your village, crafting important items, and unlocking new parts of the game. Gathering enough Marble is essential to keep progressing in LEGO Fortnite.

How to get Marble in LEGO Fortnite

Getting Marble isn’t as easy as picking it up off the ground – it takes a little more effort:

  • Find the Caves
  • Spot the Marble Deposits
  • Use the Right Tools to Collect Marble
    • Craft an Uncommon Pickaxe
    • Use Dynamite
  • Collect Your Marble

Let’s take a closer look.

Where do you find Marble in LEGO Fortnite?

Marble can only be found in Caves, which are scattered across the map in LEGO Fortnite's numerous biomes. These caves are easy to spot because they are large, rocky structures with a big hole or entrance.

To enter a cave, just walk up to the entrance and press the action button (usually indicated on screen). Once inside, you'll start to see different resources, but the one you're looking for is the grey Marble that can be found on the cave walls and floors.

There are many caves around the map, so don’t just visit one. Explore different caves to find more Marble.

What tool to break Marble in LEGO Fortnite?

There are two main ways to gather Marble: with an Uncommon Pickaxe or with Dynamite. You’ll need one of these tools to break the Marble deposits.

Crafting the Uncommon Pickaxe

To collect Marble with a pickaxe, you first need to craft an Uncommon Pickaxe. Here’s how to do that:

  • Materials you’ll need:
    • 3x Bones
    • 3x Knotroot Rods

You can find Bones by defeating enemies or picking them up in the world. Knotroot Rods are gathered in Grassland Caves, and you’ll need an Uncommon Axe to collect them. Once you have all the materials, go to a Level 2 Crafting Bench and craft the Uncommon Pickaxe.

After that, head into the caves and start breaking the grey Marble deposits with your Uncommon Pickaxe.

Using Dynamite

Alternatively, you can use Dynamite to break the Marble. Dynamite is stronger and faster but needs to be crafted first. Here’s how:

  • Materials you’ll need:
    • 3x Knotroot Rods
    • 1x Blast Powder

Like before, Knotroot Rods can be found in the caves, and Blast Powder can be found in hidden chests inside the caves or in the overworld. Once you have the materials, craft the Dynamite.

To use Dynamite, place it next to the Marble deposit, stand back to avoid getting hurt by the explosion, and then activate it. The explosion will break the Marble, and you can collect it right after.

Collect your Marble

After using either the Uncommon Pickaxe or Dynamite, the Marble deposit will break, and you can walk up to it to collect the Marble.

Now that you have your Marble, you can use it to craft and upgrade your village, or refine it into Marble Slabs for higher-level upgrades.

Refining Marble into Marble Slabs

Now comes the fun part! To craft Marble Slabs, simply deposit your Marble into the Stone Breaker station. The station will process the Marble, turning each unit of Marble into one Marble Slab. You can deposit up to 30 units of Marble at once, allowing you to craft a large batch of slabs in one go.

After a short wait, you’ll have your Marble Slabs ready to use. These refined materials are essential for upgrading your village to higher levels, particularly Levels 7 and 8.
