How to do the Cybertruck quests in Fortnite
The Tesla x Fortnite crossover was bound to happen sooner or later.
In the summer, Fortnite teamed up with Tesla to offer players the chance to unlock the much-anticipated Cybertruck. This is a very special collaboration as Tesla is a massive car manufacturer and Fortnite, on the other hand, is one of the most popular games in the world. We recently showed you where to find the Cybertruck in Fortnite and in order to get this car, you had to complete a set of quests. In this guide, we will explain to you everything you need to know about the Cybertruck in Fortnite, including how to get it, how to do the quests and more!
How to get Cybertruck in Fortnite
The event, known as the Summer Road Trip, spans from July 23 to July 31. During this period, a new quest unlocks each day, and players have until August 6 to complete all nine quests.
The quests involve two main activities:
- Earning XP on creator-made islands.
- Earning XP in various Fortnite Battle Royale modes, such as Zero Build, Team Rumble, Reload, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival.
Players have the freedom to choose which creator-made islands they want to visit, which allows for a customizable experience.
Alternatively, players can unlock the Cybertruck by participating in Rocket League’s Summer Road Trip. By using the Beast Mode Boost and playing five online matches in Rocket League, players can earn the Cybertruck in Fortnite. This cross-game ownership also works vice versa.
How to do the Cybertruck quests in Fortnite
The quests began on July 23 and offered daily challenges that required team participation. Each quest was designed to be completed with a party, not solo. The details of the quests and their rewards were as follows:
- July 23: Earn 60,000 XP in Creator Made Islands to get 30,000 XP as a reward.
- July 24: Earn 60,000 XP with a party in Battle Royale, Reload, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, or Festival modes to receive 30,000 XP.
- July 25: Earn another 60,000 XP in Creator Made Islands for 30,000 XP.
- July 26: Earn 60,000 XP with a party in the mentioned modes for 30,000 XP.
- July 27: Earn 60,000 XP in Creator Made Islands for 30,000 XP.
- July 28: Earn 60,000 XP with a party in the various modes to get 30,000 XP.
- July 29: Earn 60,000 XP in Creator Made Islands for 30,000 XP.
- July 30: Earn 60,000 XP with a party in Battle Royale, Reload, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, or Festival modes to receive 30,000 XP.
- July 31: Earn 60,000 XP in Creator Made Islands to secure 30,000 XP.
Completing three quests rewards you with the Underworld Camo Wrap, six quests earn you the Sun Sign Back Bling, and finishing all nine grants the Tesla Cybertruck Bundle, which includes the Beast Mode Boost.
Is the Fortnite Cybertruck free?
The Tesla Cybertruck is available for free to players who complete the Summer Road Trip quests within the event period. After the event, starting August 6, the Cybertruck and its bundle were made purchasable in the Fortnite Shop with the release of update v30.40.

When you get the Tesla Cybertruck, either through the quests or by buying it later, you receive a package with several unique items for your SUV. The bundle includes:

- Matte Black Cybertruck Decal: A sleek matte black wrap for your truck.

- Cyber Wheels: Stylish wheels that match the futuristic theme of the Cybertruck.
The Cybertruck event in Fortnite is a great opportunity for players to enjoy new challenges and earn this almost “legendary” vehicle in the game. In real life, Tesla is a huge company and Cybertruck is surrey one of the most popular cars out there, mainly because how it looks. By participating in the event, either through Fortnite or Rocket League, players can add the innovative Tesla Cybertruck to their in-game vehicle collection.
