AYM Esports sign a VALORANT team for VCT Challengers 2023
VALORANT esports has demonstrated significant growth ever since its entry to the scene, and it has the potential to rival the likes of CS:GO and League of Legends. Considering its growth, it is no surprise that more esports organizations are willing to invest resources in developing rosters that can compete with other formidable and already established teams. Joining the ranks today is none other than the Spanish organization AYM Esports with noteworthy teams in FIFA, League of Legends and now VALORANT.
Making their debut at the upcoming VCT 2023 - Challengers League Spain: Rising Split 1, their team features five players with varying levels of experience in the regional scene. First off is Miguel "MikaEl" Ángel Díaz, who will be assuming a Flex role for the team after a brief stint with Movistar riders for the Crossfire cup whereas David "ZeFRy" Gutiérrez Saiz will be joining the team as a Sentinel after short stays at PAWN GAMING and Melilla Titans.
Jesus "chechuu" Díaz’s will be the team’s smoker tasked with controlling the map. His experience is various Liga Radiante under Zeta Gaming throughout 2022 will be crucial in guaranteeing AYM’s success in the coming year. A member of the GUASONES, mrcarrito will be the lead initiator. With a rating of 1.14 on 226 AVS over the last 3 months, he has demonstrated consistency and undoubtedly will continue to do so under AYM. Finally, Daniel "Danielo" Bolufer will be competing as the team’s duelist primarily using Jett as he has done so in the past with a remarkable 1.15 average rating on 244 ACS.
