Andbox part ways with POACH
NYFU has officially let go of Jake "POACH" Brumleve following his benching decision earlier in the month. The Canadian player, Adam "mada" Pampuch, has taken his place on the VALORANT roster in preparation for the upcoming VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 3 - Open Qualifier.
POACH served as Andbox’s IGL during his tenure with the team, managing to win the Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly November, the Renegades x NSG VALORANT Invitational, and a top 8 finish in the VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 1 - Open Qualifier. Not only that, he has delivered stellar performances time and time again, piloting Sova and Viper mainly, averaging 186 ACS and 120.1 ADR across the recorded 1879 rounds as of the time of writing.
As for mada taking his place, he is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professional player, having represented the likes of Oceanus and Rugratz during his career. He has managed to finish 2nd in the WINNERS League FPL Cup 1, 3rd-4th in the ESEA Summer Cash Cup 4 North America, and top 2 in the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North America Open Qualifier.
Since his switch to VALORANT, he has played with Luminosity Gaming and Luminosity Gaming, and is now under the Andbox banner. He has finished 9th-16th in all three of the First Strike North America - NSG Tournament - Open Qualifier, the First Strike North America - NSG Tournament - Closed Qualifier, and the First Strike North America UMG Open Qualifier #1. His excellent ability to play Sova, Reyna, and Phoenix will definitely help the organization elevate their performances and go further in tournaments.
The remaining Andbox team is:
Jaccob “yay” Whitaker Christopher "Rebo" Heindel Sebastian “seb” Bucki Aaron “b0i” Thao Adam "mada" Pampuch (Stand-in)
Matt “Warden” Dickens (Coach) Gordan “g0g1” Prošić (Assistant coach)
