How to Get a Glowing Crosshair in VALORANT
A glowing crosshair is definitely one of the most unique crosshairs to have. Having said that, we don’t think it is one of the best crosshairs in VALORANT, yet it is certainly not one of the worst crosshairs you could have. Whilst we think it isn’t as awesome as for example the Cat Crosshair, it will probably be a little more effective in the brink of combat.
How you can get a Glowing Crosshair in VALORANT
This isn’t your normal crosshair guide you know and love from us, it actually is a little bit different. You can use whatever crosshair you like, but make sure you follow these steps first!
We would also like to say that getting a glowing crosshair in VALORANT does require you to download third-party software, so just note that if you download this, you are doing so at your own risk.
- Download ValorantCC from GitHub - github.com/weedeej/ValorantCC
- Install the .exe file you just downloaded
- Close VALORANT and open ValorantCC
- Select White as your Primary Color and Aim Down Color
- Set your Primary Outline Color as whatever color you want, blue, green, yellow etc.
- Save your changes and open up VALORANT
- Open your Crosshair settings and go to the Primary Settings tab
- Set Outlines to On, choosing whatever thickness and opacity you want
There you have it! If you have followed all the stages correctly, you should have an awesome glowing crosshair next time you load into a game of VALORANT to drop 30 kills in rated games.
We recommend using a color such as Blue for this glowing crosshair, as some colors do display the glow a lot more than others. For example, if you select White as your crosshair color, you will not really be able to see the glow, as it will all blend together.
We also suggest using a crosshair in the traditional shape, which is a plus sign (+), as it has a lot more edges than other crosshairs. This subsequently means that the more edges your crosshair has, the more directions and angles it has to glow from.
Can Riot Games ban your VALORANT account for using ValorantCC?
The short answer is yes, Riot Games can ban your VALORANT account if you are using the ValorantCC application to get a glowing crosshair, as it is still third-party software, and Riot Games maintain the right to ban any account being altered or affected by a third-party software. Riot Games don't endorse any third-party software, but using ValorantCC is similar to using Blitz, Freecash or Buff, which should in theory be fine.
We hate to say it, but Riot Games and the VALORANT development team can be pretty savage and ruthless when it comes to bans for using third-party software. Use the software at your own risk!
