How to Copy a Crosshair in VALORANT
Copying a crosshair is a great feature Riot Games and the VALORANT development team have added into the game since its release in 2020, making it so much easier for players to get crosshairs they like, without having to blindly hope they can replicate it.
The best part is that it is really simple to do as well! Before this feature was introduced, you’d have to find a crosshair online, and put in all of the settings individually into your crosshair profile in VALORANT, or ask someone for their settings. Although you probably should know how to copy a crosshair.
How to Copy Someone’s Crosshair in VALORANT
The process is very simple and very easy, in fact, nine times out of ten you can get it done in a game of VALORANT, before the next round starts! Just follow these very simple steps and you can get any crosshair you see.
Side note: you can only input the crosshair copying command once you are dead, and your teammate is alive, of whom you want to copy the crosshair.
- Make a crosshair profile for the crosshair you want to copy.
- Next, make sure you are spectating your teammate whose crosshair you want to copy.
- Type in the command “/crosshair copy” or “/cc” into your chat box
It is as simple as that. The crosshair you have just seen your teammate using, you now have setup on the crosshair profile you selected, all ready to go, just go into settings and select that crosshair profile!
How to share your crosshair in VALORANT
Now what if you are the person with the awesome crosshair, and people want your crosshair, be it a teammate, a friend, or even a queue partner? Instead of giving them all of your settings individually, you can share your own bespoke crosshair with them instead.
- Go into your settings and select the crosshair profile you want to share.
- Select the “Export Crosshair Code” button - it is the upwards arrow, not the downwards one!
- Paste the copied crosshair code into whatever chat you are using, be it game chat, Discord, or anything else.
Now all the other person needs to do is to create a crosshair profile of their own, appreciatively name it after yourself, and then press the “Import Crosshair Code” button, which is the down arrow this time, and then they are good to go.
You can both then edit the crosshair, so if something feels just off, you can perfect it and play around with it until it suits your needs.
This is really useful as not everyone wants to use the exact same crosshair, especially when copying crosshairs from professional players. You may not like Sinatraa’s crosshair, or Tarik’s crosshair, but they might both have aspects that you love, so play around with them and have fun!
If you want some awesome crosshair ideas, we have a load for you, and just to name a few, other professional players such as Grim’s crosshair, Shroud’s crosshair, and even the best crosshair for spraying if that is how you play!
