Everything You Need to Know About Tristana in League of Legends
As far as Yordles go, Tristana is one of the more fun champions to play so here is everything you need to know about Tristana in League of Legends!Tristana has been a staple ADC for well over a decade now and has one of the most aggressive playstyles you will find in the Bot Lane, so much so that she's even been used in the Mid Lane a fair amount over the years too!
Being able to pick up this flexible Yordle is a great skill to have and whilst her aggressive nature takes a bit master, it certainly can pay off and get you some easy LP gains.
So here is everything you need to know about Tristana in League of Legends, from her abilities, to her lore, and even her release date, so you can fall in love with playing the Yordle champion along your ranked journey.
Passive: Draw a Bead
Tristana’s basic attacks, her E, Explosive Charge, and her Ultimate ability, Buster Shot, all gain up to 136 bonus range based on her level which maxes out at 661 range.
This means that at level 18, apart from a stacking Senna, Tristana is the highest range champion in the game, ahead of Champions such as Caitlyn and Aphelios with certain guns!
Q: Rapid Fire
When Tristana uses her Q, she empowers her cannon which gives her bonus attack speed for seven seconds.
This scales from 60% at level one to 125% at level five, when this ability is fully maxed out.
W: Rocket Jump
When Tristana uses her W, Rocket Jump, she launches to her chosen location, and when she lands she deals Magic Damage of up to 295 plus 50% of her AP, and slows enemies by 60%, for up to three seconds.
Whenever Tristana gets a kill or an assist, or explodes her E, Explosive Charge, at maximum stacks, Rocket Jump’s cooldown is reset, and Tristana can use it to jump again.
E: Explosive Charge
The passive of Tristana's E, Explosive Charge, means that her basic attacks explode in a small area around the target when they kill it. this deals up to 155 magic damage, plus 25% of Tristana’s AP.
The active of this ability has Tristana throw an explosive mine at her chosen enemy, which lasts for four seconds. This then explodes, dealing physical damage of up to 110 plus up to 150% of Tristana's bonus AD, as well as 50% of her AP too - for a lot of damage!
Whenever Tristana uses a basic attack or an ability against the target that her explosive charges on, the damage is increased per stack by 30%, stacking up to four times, with each stack dealing up to 33 plus up to 45% of Tristana’s bonus AD, as well as 15% of her AP.
When Tristana hits four stacks on the explosive charge, the bomb detonates instantly and this can also be exploded by her ultimate, Buster Shot.
R: Buster Shot
In true Tristana fashion, her Ultimate ability, Buster Shot, has her fire a giant cannonball at her chosen target, dealing up to 500 magic damage plus 100% of her AP.
This also knocks back the enemy for up to 1000 units, and stuns them for three quarters of a second.
When was Tristana released in League of Legends?
Tristana has been in the game since nearly the very beginning, being released on February 21, 2009.
This was in Alpha week 2 of League of Legends, back when champions such Ashe, were known as Bowmaster!
Where is Tristana from in League of Legends?
As we know Tristana is a Yordle, and because of this, we know that there is very little to tell us anything about Tristana's origins. What we do know, is that due to her Yordle heritage is that she is from Bandle City, the home realm and city of the Yordles!
Tristana’s Age in League of Legends
Once again, Tristana's nature as a Yordle tells us very little about her backstory and one of these is her age. Whilst most Yordles, such as Poppy, give us a teaser into the age of the champion, Tristana is one that we have literally nothing about.
So we're sorry if you're looking for Tristana’s age, but you just won't find it anywhere!
Tristana’s Voice Actor in League of Legends
Tristana's voice actress is Elspeth Eastman, ever since her visual update in 2015.
Elspeth Eastman also voices Dragon Trainer Tristana too, although the original 2009 Alpha Testing version of Tristana actually has a withheld voice actress!
Tristanai is one of our favourite Yordles in League of Legends, although if she's not for you, but you love the Yordles, then don't worry we have a load of other champion guides for plenty of Yordles on the Rift so you can find your perfect one!
