Teemo abilities in League of Legends
Check out all the abilities of League of Legends:
PASSIVE: GUERRILLA WARFARE
If Teemo stands still and takes no actions for a short duration, he becomes Invisible indefinitely. If he's in brush, Teemo can enter and maintain his Invisibility while moving. After leaving Invisibility, Teemo gains the Element of Surprise, increasing his Attack Speed for a few seconds.
Teemo can turn invisible when he stands still or moves in the bushes. When he comes out of being invisible, he attacks faster for a bit.
Q: BLINDING DART
Obscures an enemy's vision with a powerful venom, dealing damage to the target unit and blinding it for the duration.
He shoots a dart that hurts and makes it hard for the enemy to hit back.
W: MOVE QUICK
Teemo scampers around, passively increasing his Move Speed until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret. Teemo can sprint to gain bonus Move Speed that isn't stopped by being struck for a short time.
Teemo runs faster, which helps him dodge attacks or catch up to enemies.
E: TOXIC SHOT
Each of Teemo's attacks will poison the target, dealing damage on impact and each second after for 4 seconds.
His normal attacks poison enemies, hurting them more over time.
R: NOXIOUS TRAP
Teemo throws an explosive poisonous trap using one of the mushrooms stored in his pack. If an enemy steps on the trap, it will release a poisonous cloud, slowing enemies and damaging them over time. If Teemo throws a mushroom onto another mushroom it will bounce, gaining additional range.
Best Teemo build
When playing Teemo, picking the right items and skills can make a big difference. Here's how to set up Teemo for success, especially if you're playing him in the top lane:
- Spells: Go for Flash and Ignite. Flash lets you quickly get in or out of battles, and Ignite can finish off enemies or cut down their healing, helping you win fights.
- Runes: Start with Press the Attack because it makes your attacks stronger the more you hit someone. Triumph gives you health back for each enemy you help take down, which can be a lifesaver. Legend: Alacrity makes you attack faster, making your poison hurt more. Last Stand means you deal more damage when your health is low, perfect for close battles.
- For your secondary runes, Bone Plating helps you take less damage from sudden attacks, and Overgrowth slowly increases your health, making you tougher.
- Rune Shards: Choose Attack Speed to help you farm and fight better early on, Adaptive Force for more damage, and Health Scaling to get tougher as the game goes on.
- Items: Start with Nashor's Tooth because it works great with your poison, giving you faster attacks and more power. Sorcerer's Shoes make your attacks and mushrooms even more painful for enemies. Liandry's Torment is key for its damage over time, which is great with your poison.
- Next, get Malignance for some healing and extra damage, Shadowflame for penetrating enemy defenses, and finish with Rabadon's Deathcap for a big power boost.
This setup focuses on making Teemo a constant threat, good at controlling the map and dealing lots of damage over time.
How to play Teemo
To do well as Teemo, keep your distance from melee fighters and use your speed to avoid getting hit. Put your mushroom bombs all over the map to surprise enemies and get easy kills by hiding near your mushrooms and attacking them when enemies step on them. Teemo is one of the most annoying champions, as most LoL players agree. SO it would not be wrong to say, “get as annoying as you can.”
Teemo counters
Here are three of the big Teemo counters that you should be careful against:
Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia can be tough because she stops you from moving fast and hits hard. To beat her, avoid her poison, wait for her to miss her spells, then go in for quick attacks. Use your mushrooms to keep an eye on her and stop her from surprising you.
Olaf
Olaf doesn't care about your blind or slows because of his special ability, and he can throw his axe to slow you down. To handle Olaf, keep your distance, use your speed wisely, and place mushrooms to help you escape. Getting items that make you tougher can also help survive his attacks
Zac
Zac can jump over your mushrooms and disrupt your positioning with his abilities. To counter Zac, keep an eye on the jungle to see him coming and place mushrooms in his path to slow him down. Staying mobile and poking him from a distance can keep you safe.
