Taliyah Abilities, Build, Runes & Guide in LOL
When Taliyah was released she was one of the most refreshing Mages League of Legends had received in a while, and that is still the case so here is everything you need to know about Taliyah in League of Legends. If you want a fun Mage to play, Taliyah is arguably one of the best picks for you. She has the ability to manipulate terrain as well as being one of the best control mages in the game, regardless of if you play her in the Mid Lane or in the Jungle.
Speaking of the Jungle, there aren't many Mages that can thrive there throughout the whole game, and whilst these kind of champions used to be picks like Elise and Nidalee, Taliyah has overtaken those as the most dominant AP Mage pick for the Jungle - whilst still being able to be flexed in the Mid Lane.
Passive: Rock Surfing
When Taliyah is moving near terrain, she gains up to 40% bonus movement speed based on her level which builds up over a one-second duration as long as she is in range of terrain and out of combat for 0.4 seconds.
Once you dismounts she will keep her speed boost for three seconds, and if she casts an ability or enters combat with an enemy champion this Passive ability cannot occur for two more seconds.
Q: Threaded Volley
Perhaps the most iconic part about Taliyah's kit is the fact that she throws five shards of stone in one select direction over one and a half seconds. These stones explode when they hit the first enemy dealing Magic Damage up to 132 plus 50% of Taliyah's AP. Each stone hitting the same target after the first only does 40% of this damage, however.
Taliyah has a lot of movement was using this ability as she can run around and cast other abilities was throwing these stones, she can also basic attack after the third stone has been thrown.
Using this ability creates a 400-unit wide circle of ‘Worked Ground’ which lasts for 30 seconds and changes the way that this ability works.
If Taliyah uses this ability on any Worked Ground, it consumes the ground and launches one large boulder at the enemy, which only costs 20 mana and has half of the original cooldown.
This boulder does up to 250.8 as a Critical Magic Damage Strike, plus 90% of Taliyah's AP, as well as slowing the target for up to 40% for 1.5 seconds.
This ability works incredibly well against monsters as it stands them for three seconds and each of the regular stones thrown by this ability deal 25 plus 10% of Taliyah's bonus AP as bonus Magic Damage against monsters.
W: Seismic Shove
Taliyah selects a target location and then chooses a direction which will erupt a large rock after just over three-quarters of a second. All enemies that are hit by this ability are knocked in the direction 400 units over the period of one second.
E: Unraveled Earth
Taliyah launches 22 stones in front of her dealing up to 240 Magic Damage for a 60% of her AP whenever they hit an enemy champion. They will remain there for four seconds and slow all enemies in the area by 20%.
Enemies that try to use a dash or are knocked over any of these stones will explode to the stone, taking up to 105 Magic Damage plus 30% of Taliyah's AP. They are also stunned for three-quarters of a second which is increased to two seconds if it is a monster unit.
Each enemy can detonate up to four Stones but the damage is reduced by up to 75% for the fourth stone and enemies can only be stunned once.
R: Weaver’s Wall
When Taliyah activates his ability she can summon a giant wall which she can ride upon as it travels in the target direction that Taliyah chose. this will knock aside all enemy champions it hits and after the wall is completed it remains there for four seconds, before slowly falling apart from its starting point.
Taliyah channels disability for one second before riding the wall and she can recast the ability which allows her to surf on the wall as it emerges. this reveals her but she can also jump off of the wall after three courses of a second whilst the wall keeps going!
Taliyah can also destroy the wall instantly whilst it is been fully formed and if she is damaged by enemy champions or turrets during the one-second channel, this ability goes on a three-second cooldown.
