Everything You Need to Know About Lulu in League of Legends
Lulu is a small pixie Yordle who loves to conjur illusions and this is reflected in her kit, so we have piled together everything you need to know about Lulu in League of Legends.Lulu is a Yordle by nature and actually flies under the radar as one of the most interesting characters in League of Legends, whilst we believe her abilities and kit in general could use a bit of an update, as well as her character model, she is still an awesome champion to pick up.
So if you are a Support main looking for a new champion to one-trick, maybe take a look through this guide to see if the enchanter Yordle is for you!
Lulu’s abilities in League of Legends
Passive: Pix, Faerie Companion
Lulu is constantly aided py her companion Pix. Whilst Pix isn’t targetable, it follows her arround, and launches three bolts at her target when Lulu auto attacks them.
These attacks scale with AP, so full AP Lulu does a surprising amount of damage with her auto attacks.
Q: Glitterlance
Lulu and Pix both fire two beams at the targeted position, which isn’t always just in two straight lines perpendicular to each other, but we will get onto what we mean soon!
The beams both do magic damage up to 210 at max rank, but also slow enemies for 80%, decaying over a period of two seconds, however, hitting an enemy with the second beam does 25% damage unfortunately.
W: Whimsy
Lulu can cast this ability on enemies to polymorph them for up to 2 seconds at max rank, this disarms enemies, stopping them from playing the game! It also reduces their movement speed heavily by a flat rate of 60.
The Yordle can also cast Whimsy on herself or allies, and when she does, it gives the targeted player increased attack speed and movement speed for between 3 and 4 seconds.
E: Help, Pix!
Lulu’s E is what we were referencing earlier and it has some pretty cool interactions, such as with her Passive and her Q.
Lulu can cast her E onto enemy champions, throwing Pix onto them, dealing between 80 and 240 magic damage, and also revealing them to your team.
The fun part is casting her E on allies or herself, which sends Pix to the target for 6.25 seconds. It also shields the ally for 2.5 seconds.
By doing this, you can cast your Q, which fires the second beam from your ally instead of you, and your Passive also fires from them too.
R: Wild Growth
Imagine a Renekton or Nasus ultimate ability, that you can cast on yourself or your allies! Lulu increases the size of the target, whilst also knocking back nearby targets for 0.75 seconds, as well as slowing them for 0.25s.
This also gives the ally extra bonus health of up to 575 plus 45% of Lulu’s AP. The ally becomes really hard to kill, so putting it on your ADC is a great idea in teamfights.
When was Lulu released in League of Legends?
Lulu was released in League of Legends on March 20, 2012, which was in Patch 1.0.0.136. This was just before the release of Season Two of League of Legends, so do’t worry, we don’t expect you to remember it.
Her first skins were Wicked Lulu and Bittersweet Lulu. Yes, she got two release skins!
Where is Lulu from in League of Legends?
The Fae Sorceress is from Bandle City, as are most Yordles in League of Legends, and whilst we know little of where she is now, we do know she used to reside in The Glade, which is a hidden area in the Spirit Realm.
Lulu’s Age in League of Legends
Lulu is one of the few champions we don’t know the exact age of, and this is probably because she is a Yordle, and Riot Games want to keep as much as they can of the Yordle homeland, Bandle City, unknown.
Lulu’s Voice Actor in League of Legends
Rather fittingly, Lulu’s voice actress is a woman called Faye Mata. Whilst we know it is a different spelling to Fae, it is still pretty cool we think.
Faye Mata has actually been in quite a few animated tv shows and animes, such as Hunter X Hunter and Sailor Moon, so you probably have heard her voice if you are into your anime.
Want to know more about other champions? Well, we have got articles covering almost every other champion in the League of Legends roster on our website, so if you want to learn about a new champion other than the Fae Sorceress, Lulu, then you are in the right place.
