Lux is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends, but yet a lot of people still don't know how to properly utilize her, and although her kit is relatively linear and simple, there are some great tactics you can utilize to get the most out of the Demacian sorceress.

So whether you decide to play her Mid Lane or in the Support role, Lux will always be a good pick regardless of what your team composition is, and if all else fails you can always one-shot someone with a giant laser beam!

Whenever one of Lux’s abilities hits an enemy champion, it will apply a mark which lasts for six seconds which will refresh for every new ability hit.

Lux can consume this mark by auto-attacking that champion, or using her ultimate which will do between 30 and 200 magic damage plus 25% of Lux's AP.

Lux shoots a ball of light in a straight line at the target location, this will deal magic damage to the first two enemies that it hits and it will also root them for two seconds. The damage of this ability  is up to 240 at max rank plus 60% of Lux’s AP.

Prismatic Barrier is Lux’s primary defensive ability and it throws her wand in the direction that comes back like a boomerang after it reaches the maximum range. Lux and any ally she hits with the wand gain a shield for two and a half seconds, which can stack twice and is equivalent to 100 shielding power and 35% AP.

E: Lucent Singularity

Lux can send another ball of light to the target location, which when there creates an AOE circle which Lux can explode for 5 seconds. It will also slow enemies within it and it will grant vision of the area as well. The slow is up to 45% up rank five of this ability.

Lux can then recast this to detonate the ball of light which will deal up to 265 magic damage plus 80% of Lux’s AP.

The range of this is 3400 units so get ready to start sniping!

A lot about Lux's law and personality was revealed in the Sylas release trailer, in which Sylas befriended Lux and then betrayed her to escape Demacian jail.

Lux was born in 976 AN which places her at 21 years of age. This is just 5 years younger than her elder brother Garen, who was born in 971 AN.

Although she still relatively young in the League of Legends world, her magical powers still make her one of the strongest people in Demacia, and whilst Demacians aren’t overly fond of magic users Lux is still allowed to reside in Terbisia in Demacia.

Hi, my name is Eddie, I am a full-time writer and short-form video editor, with a degree in Esports! My main games are VALORANT and League of Legends, so you could say that I am at the beck and call of Riot Games! I have worked previously for a few different websites, doing various roles, such as writing, editing, and even voiceovers, but here at THESPIKE, I am an out-and-out article writer, so I can really get as much content out as I can! I graduated with my Esports degree with a 2:1, and a desire to keep going, so this was a perfect step for me, but I still can't get enough of League of Legends when I'm free.
