Halloween celebrations reached a new level of excitement with the introduction of the Jack Skellington skin. Inspired by the beloved character from Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas," the Jack Skellington skin has quickly become a fan favorite. Until today, we had three Jack Skellington versions in Fortnite:

• Classic Jack Skellington: The iconic look straight from "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

• Santa Jack: A festive variant that combines Halloween with a touch of holiday cheer.

• Lego Jack: In an exciting crossover event, Jack Skellington also appears in LEGO Fortnite as a LEGO minifigure. This unique style was introduced in Update v28.10, offering players a fun, blocky version of the Pumpkin King.

However, there is an issue, although it become a fan favorite, it is not easy to find. 

Fortnite Jack Skellington skin release date 

Since his first release on October 24, 2023, Jack Skellington has appeared in the Item Shop on 21 occasions across 18 days. His last appearance was on February 7, 2024, so watch the Item Shop for future opportunities to grab this iconic Fortnite skin.

Why was Fortnite Jack Skellington skin removed?

The Jack Skellington skin in Fortnite was temporarily disabled twice due to critical bugs that rendered the outfit unplayable. The first instance occurred during Update v27.00, affecting Fortnite: Save the World and the entire game. The second instance happened during Update v29.00. 

These bugs prompted the developers to temporarily remove the skin from the game to address the issues and ensure a smooth gameplay experience for all players.

When does Jack Skellington come to Fortnite?

Assuming periodic appearances, Jack Skellington typically returns to Fortnite during special events or seasonal updates, aligning with Halloween-themed releases or festive occasions like Fortnitemares.
