Best Lachmann 556 build Warzone 2
An A-tier assault rifle that Call of Duty released alongside Modern Warfare 2 back on October 28, 2022, the Lachmann 556 has been a solid AR of Warzone 2 since its earliest days, but its popularity soared in the meta after Season 4 buffs.
Now considered the perfect balance of decent power and precision accuracy, with a faster TTK than most ARs, it’s easy to see why some of the world’s best players like JGOD view the Lachmann 556 as a top choice.
If you’re here, we know you agree. The only question left is… what’s the best Lachmann 556 build to maximize this savage AR’s killpower to match that unrivalled accuracy?
Well, we’re here to show you just that. No more loadout guessing, we’ve got your back, Jack.
How do you unlock the Lachmann 556?
All you need to do is level up the Lachmann 762 Battle Rifle to level 13 and you can add the Lachmann 556 to your arsenal and begin kitting it out for the best handling possible.
(if you’re totally new and don’t yet have the Lachmann 762, you’ll unlock that when you hit rank 16.)
To quote the Lachmann 556’s in-game description, it’s time to “bridge the gap between submachine guns and full-powered rifles”.

What is the best Lachmann 556 loadout in Warzone 2?
Attachments
As always, there’s an element of personal preference to consider when it comes to the attachments for your Lachmann 556 loadout, especially things like the optic. The Aim-OP V4 tends to be favored by most pro players, but if it doesn’t work for you, change it up!
The Harbiner D20 is a must, unless you don’t want sound suppression and a softer recoil, and we’ve found the 15.9" Lachmann Rapp Barrell and FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel complement each other well by further improving your range, accuracy, and recoil control.
Definitely kit your Lachmann build out with that 60 Round Mag too, as there’s no match where starting wiht that extra ammo isn’t a major benefit.
Speaking of ammo, if you’re happy with the Lachmann 556’s default scope, we’d suggest you drop the Aim-OP V4 optic and slot the 5.56 High Velocity ammo into your loadout – that’ll complement the rest of the build nicely, and give the Lachmann 556 sniper-levels of bullet velocity.
Perks and equipment
Going into battle without Overkill is a rookie’s mistake. The Lachmann 556 pairs well with a second primary weapon like the Lachmann Sub, or any other SMG that takes your fancy and gives you that up-close nastiness power.
