Best crossbow loadout for Warzone & MW3
Stealth? Strategy? Endless entertainment? Say no more! With its long range and one-shot kill power, the crossbow can be an absolute brute of a weapon choice in Warzone and MW3… but only a top-notch loadout will guarantee it.
A crossbow build like this is designed to maximize savagery and stopping power, giving you the kind of crossbow every COD player dreams of. Of course, we can’t promise you’ll be able to handle such a heartstopper as the crossbow – it does take some getting used to compared with other guns, even kitted out with the best build – but we can promise this…
Stick with this build, and you’ll be swaggering around like a Call of Duty Daryl Dixon in no time.
How do you unlock the crossbow?
Since the crossbow is technically considered a Marksman Rifle, you’ll need to get 50 Longshot Kills with Marksman Rifles before you can get the crossbow in your armory.
Alternatively, you could drop into a DMZ match and extract with the crossbow in your hands.

What is the best crossbow loadout in Warzone?
Attachments
Between the 28-Strand Cable and the S0 Momenti arms, you’ll crank your crossbow’s bolt velocity, accuracy, and damage through the roof. With these two attachments in your loadout, you’ll be picking enemies off from miles away, every day.
Combine that with an optic like the Luca and you’ll make those long-range kills even easier (it’s hard to argue with the 3.7x and 8.0x zoom options!). The only problem with the Luca Bandera is it’ll slugify your ADS and aim walking speeds… which is why we’ve countered that with the laser and stock options…
Yes, the VLK and Speedtrak Echo will boost your ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds to perfectly outmatch the drop caused by the optic in this build, giving you a crossbow that’s as silent as it is deadly.
Now all you need is the perfect perks to complement the crossbow’s controlling playstyle…
Perks and equipment
Rare is the day we don’t suggest Overkill as your first perk, simply because it’s always useful to have access to a second primary weapon. This goes doubly for anyone rocking a crossbow, caught between reloads, and needing a reliable backup.
But hey, if you’re an unstoppable shadowy death machine with the crossbow and confident you can rely on it in any scenario, maybe Overkill isn’t for you! In which case, take your pick between the likes of Bomb Squad or Battle Hardened.
Double Time and Fast Hands should definitely make the cut in any killer crossbow loadout, as a way to maximize the “speed” part of your stealth and speed strategy. And the same goes for Ghost, which will keep you off enemy radars while you stalk your prey.
Fast Hands is especially important – otherwise, the crossbow’s reload speed kinda sucks.
Any lethal will do, so whack your fave in the loadout, but when it comes to your tactical, the Snapshot is your best bet since it helps you scout out the terrain ahead.
