Best BAS-P loadout for Warzone & MW3
Once upon a time, no one would have believed that the poor-man’s BAS-P would ever become one of Warzone’s best SMGs… and yet now, here we are. Yes, the BAS-P is an absolute pitbull, dominating the gun meta in Warzone and MW3 as though it always planned on doing exactly that.
With its aggressive fire rate and modular frame, it’s no wonder the A-Tier BAS-P is praised as being “perfect for the discerning operator who wants to customize their submachine gun.”
The BAS-P became so popular, plenty of players were worried it would be knocked down a peg or two with some nasty nerfs with the release of Modern Warfare 3 and the latest Warzone developments.
Those fears were dead wrong, especially for those with a top BAS-P loadout to fall back on. And speaking of a top build for this beast of an SMG…
How do you unlock the BAS-P?
Get 25 headshot kills with SMGs. Unlocking the BAS-P in Warzone is as simple as that. Or, you could always extract from DMZ with the blueprints for it. Either way, you should be able to get the BAS-P in your armory without much effort.
We think you’ll have a much easier go of it than in the old days of Warzone, when you had to work your way to and complete Sector A6 of the Season 1 Battle Pass, but maybe that’s just us!

Don’t you just hate recoil? Well, that’s why we’ve chosen the Lacerta Compensator muzzle – to tame the often potent kick from the BAS-P.
This choice of laser, stock, and rear grip in your BAS-P build will enhance your SMG with a fiery speed boost to your ADS and sprint-to-fire, and that basically turns this already formidable firecracker of a gun into a deadly dragon your enemies are sure to get burned by.
Perks and equipment
Since the BAS-P is only a death machine at close range, Overkill is pretty much essential to any kickass loadout. We’d suggest backing the BAS-P up with either a powerhouse sniper or a snappy assault rifle – anything that’ll plug the holes in your long-range game (might we suggest the Victus XMR?).
We feel that Double Time and Fast Hands complement the vibe of the BAS-P too well to ignore. This SMG is all about becoming a total speed freak killstreak monster, and these two perks will help you do just that.
Ghost, because… well, it’s tough to argue with being hidden from enemy UAVs while you swoop in close for the kill.
Meanwhile, Semtex is just great for any camping enemies you come across, and Flash ‘nades are the perfect companion for your up-in-your-grill kills.
