T1 Announces Pacific roster for VCT 2023
The offseason for Valorant teams is their time to regroup and recollect from the previous year. This could take the form of dropping players, adding players, and sometimes shifting players to an entirely different region. South Korean based esports org T1 chose the third option and brought some of their players from their NA Valorant team over to their newly announced Pacific team.
After being announced earlier that T1 was part of the partnered teams chosen by Riot for the VCT 2023 season, fans were shown that T1 was going to be part of the VCT 2023 - Pacific League in the upcoming season. Taking the place of their main roster which had been struggling to compete in NA, T1 will be looking to make their mark in the region against teams like DRX, ZETA DIVISION, and Paper Rex. While their previous attempts to make their mark on the scene have been lackluster, mixing some returning players and some fresh talent might just be what they need.
The new T1 team is composed of a few familiar and returning faces for longtime fans of the org. However, they decided to shake things up and bring on a player who is going to be making their Valorant professional debut next year. Any Valorant pro will tell you that the difference between a Radiant comp game and a professional Valorant tournament is night and day. With the Valorant Pacific League kicking off in late March 2023, T1 will receive a long, much needed offseason to help establish their new players into the roster with some decently notable current players
The newly announced Pacific League players going into the 2023 VCT season for T1 are:
Ha "Sayaplayer" Jung-woo Joseph Seungmin "ban" Oh Son "xeta" Seon-ho Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beomKim “BeomJun” Beom-Jun
