Paper Rex are a professional esports organization based in Singapore and founded in January 2020 by former Counter-Strike legend player, Harley 'dsn' Örwall. Their VALORANT division was created in July 2020 and have been one of the most consistent teams in South East Asia and have attended 3 Major International events.

A VALORANT tournament organized by Riot Games, sponsored by ZOWIE, Predator, intel, pulsar. 12 teams are competing in a Two Single-Round Robin bracket, then Double-Elimination bracket. 1st-3rd place winners will qualify to Masters Toronto.

The VALORANT Royal Cup will host 16 participating teams, 12 of whom are invited teams, and four of whom are the top teams from the open qualifiers. The main event consists of a Bo2 Round Robin group stage, with four groups (comprising four teams per group). The top two teams from each group will then advance to a double-elimination playoff. Participating teams and broadcasting talents will be announced in the coming weeks.
