The VCT International Leagues have finished. After gruelling months of league play followed by playoffs, VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, and VCT Pacific are done. With the conclusion of those events, three teams have emerged as the victors of their respective leagues and they were LOUD, Team Liquid, and Paper Rex respectively.

With the leagues wrapped up, we've updated our VCT International League Rankings to reflect recent results.

Check out our last Rankings update as well as an explanation of how our Rankings work alongside what we have in store for the future as far as VALORANT Rankings are concerned.

Paper Rex and Team Liquid rise after League victories

Both Paper Rex and Team Liquid saw a considerable rise in our Rankings due to their phenomenal victories in the Grand Finale of their respective leagues. Both teams did well in the group stage of their leagues but neither were the clear-cut favorites to lift the trophy at the playoffs. The tenacity of DRX and the unbeaten run of Fnatic saw the two teams be the clear favorites to win their leagues. And yet, PRX turned things around after a 0:2 deficit to complete a phenomenal reverse sweep in the grand finale, while Liquid rallied through the lower bracket to finally defeat Fnatic cleanly with a 3:1 dub. Team Liquid break into the Top 10 and occupy the seventh place while Paper Rex has knocked down DRX to spot number 4 and have taken spot #3 themselves.

FUT and NRG move up after making Masters Tokyo

Both FUT Esports and NRG Esports have successfully made Masters Tokyo after their successful results in their respective Leagues. FUT Esports managed to snag a 3rd place finish after a surprise win against Natus Vincere in the Lower Bracket 3/4, but then fell short to Team Liquid in the Lower Final. Still, the result was a big surprise considering FUT's 5th place finish in the group stage of VCT EMEA League. FUT's achievement in the playoffs have given the Turkish team a massive boost in our ranking, jumping up 6 places and breaking into our top 10, now sitting at #10.

Meanwhile, NRG have had a relatively successful group stage run, finishing in third. However, their playoffs run was a rather rocky one as Pujan "FNS" Mehta's side had to rally throughout the entirety of the lower bracket before making the grand finale against LOUD. After a fruitful run however, LOUD swept the NA side with a clean 3-0 scoreline. Still, their second seed at Masters Tokyo and a runner-up placement in the VCT Americas league see them go up one spot in our VCT International Leagues Rankings, placing themselves in 5th.

DRX, NAVI, and Cloud9 drop

While still maintaining a spot in the top 10, DRX, Cloud9, and Natus Vincere see a drop in their placing in the top 10. The Korean DRX have lost to their regional rivals PRX twice over the course of the playoffs; in the Upper Bracket Final of VCT Pacific, as well as in the grand finale of the event, leading to them dropping down one spot while their rivals snatch their spot.

NAVI have finished the group stage in second place, taking a hit twice but still managing to garner 7 victories. In the playoffs NAVI lost to Team Liquid which saw them drop to the lower bracket, and then eventually saw FUT eliminate them from the event. Still, NAVI are one of the four teams which we'll see at Masters Tokyo. The two losses however, see the team drop four places in our Ranking, now taking the eighth spot.

Finally, Cloud9 saw a successful VCT Americas League run, finishing in second spot in the group stage with a tied score sheet with LOUD at 8-1. In the playoffs, Cloud9 dropped to the lower bracket immediately but managed to get the Lower Bracket 2/4 dub, but failed to overcome NRG Esports to make Masters Tokyo and Champions. For this reason, Cloud9 has dropped to spot #6 on our VALORANT Ranking.
