Zellsis becomes an unrestricted free agent, open to offers
Cloud9’s Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro has announced that he is now an unrestricted free agent and open to offers. The American player also added that he will be considering offers from any region and is willing to relocate. Zellsis’ tweet marks the end of his career at Cloud9, and now it is time for him to look for another home to show his capabilities in VALORANT.
Zellsis played for Cloud9 in 2023
Zellsis made his name known under the roof of Version1. He spent almost one and a half years at the organization before joining Sentinels on loan. His time at Sentinels was not very long, as he only joined the team to compete at the VCT 2022 North America Last Chance Qualifier. Sentinels lost to 100 Thieves and failed to qualify for the international challenge, marking the end of Zellsis’ career at the team. If Sentinels had a successful run, he could have shown his talent at Champions 2022.
After his time with Sentinels came to an end, Zellsis made his return to Version1 but left the team shortly after that. Most recently, he joined Cloud9 at the beginning of the 2023 season and competed at VCT 2022 OFF SEASON - Red Bull Home Ground 2022, VCT 2023: LOCK//IN Sao Paulo, VCT 2023 Americas League, and the VCT 2023: Americas Last Chance Qualifier. Cloud9 failed to represent the the Americas at Masters or Champions. As the season ended, Zellsis has announced to be departing the organization.
In the last six months, Zellsis’ go-to Agent was Killjoy. The American talent picked the Agent 23 times, and his second most-picked Agent was Breach, with only five picks. Zellsis held a 0.92 rating on Killjoy in this time frame and 1.07 on Breach. Generally, he holds a 1.18 rating and a 1.20 K/D since the beginning of his career.
Zellsis is willing to relocate to any region, so it will be interesting to see which team he will end up playing for. We might see him in EMEA, Americas, or Pacific, as he wants to continue competing at the highest level. Here is the full roster of Cloud9 from last season:
