When does the new VALORANT act start?

So we have no exact date for when the next VALORANT act starts, but we can roughly estimate how long between each Act!

Riot Games usually give us a similar amount of time between VALORANT Episodes and Acts, meaning based on whenever you are reading this article, you can roughly figure out and answer the question, in VLAORANT, when does the new Act start?

When does the new Act start in VALORANT?

The best way to figure this out is to look at the start and end dates of previous VALORANT Acts, such as looking at Episode 06: REVELATION had its final Act, Act Three start on April 25, 2023, and end on June 26, 2023.

This is roughly two months, but do not go on just this! For example, the Act before this one, Episode 6, Act Two, started on March 6, 2023, but ended on April 25, 2023. This is about six weeks!

So we can safely estimate than an Act in VALORANT will last around six to eight weeks, which is a month and a half to two months!

When does VALORANT Episode 07, Act 02 come out?

At the time of this article being written, it is currently the beginning of August, meaning that Episode 07, Act 01 has been on the live servers for just over a month.

This means we are expecting between two and four weeks before Episode 07, Act 02 is released!

Does the Battle Pass end when the Act ends?

So another way of tracking roughly when the next Act will come out is by seeing when the Battle Pass ends! Although the new Act and the new Battle Pass aren’t always aligned with each others’ release dates, they are usually around the same time!

Go to your Battle Pass tab and you will see how long you have left to grind to get that knife or Phantom skin you want so bad!

What is new in each new Act?

So in each new VALORANT Act, we get a new Battle Pass, which has a load of skins for a lot of guns, usually including either a Vandal or a Phantom, an Operator, a Melee, and a Sheriff - as well as a load of additional cosmetics too!

We also sometimes get a new map or a new agent, but usually only if there hasn’t been one released in that Episode yet!

Our latest agent, Deadlock came out with Patch 7.0, which was also Episode 07, Act 01. These usually alternate, and it is not often that we get a new agent and a new map in one Episode of VALORANT!
