VALORANT ranked mode coming next week
We have all been enjoying VALORANT since its full release on June 2nd, 2020. However, the lack of the competitive ranked mode leaves a lot to be desired. Players have been spamming regular matches ever since, but it feels like the same old story of closed beta. At the time, people started getting bored of messing around and wanted to try out a real challenge.
It is worth noting that Riot Games are slightly reworking the ranked system, and scrapping the VALORANT rank. We are still awaiting more information on how Riot Games’ development team plans to revamp the ranking system and what the new top rank will be called and what it will entail for players who achieve it.
Those wondering exactly when Riot Games is going to give more details on ranked mode finally got their answer, since VALORANT Game Director Joe “Ziggs” Ziegler finally gave the community some details on its status. VALORANT players should expect the ranked mode to arrive during the next week, with no set timing on when to expect it exactly.
The closed beta received its ranked mode a few weeks after its launch on April 7th, 2020, and millions of people flooded the game to see how they fare against other VALORANT players in their region. It is probably part of why Riot Games are delaying the ranked mode’s release, considering they want to properly gauge how their servers will behave once the game is available to everyone in the world.
We will update you with more information about VALORANT’s ranked mode’s regional launch timings once they are available. Stay tuned for more news on THESPIKE.GG!
