Turtle Troop part ways with TiGG, mummAy, add Rossy and dazzle
North American esports organization Turtle Troop has made changes to its VALORANT roster. The team announced that it has parted ways with Tanner "TiGG" Spanu and Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo, replacing them with Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo and FaZe Clan's Will "dazzLe" Loafman.

Tanner "TiGG" Spanu, known for his nearly 1-year stint at Luminosity Gaming, left Luminosity in June 2022 and signed with Shopify Rebellion. The 23-year-old was a part of Shopify for 3 months before joining Turtle Troop in February 2023. TiGG has only been with Trurtle Troop for a short period of 2 months, ending another short stint with a VALORANT team.
Another player who left the team, Anthony "mummAy" DiPaolo, entered the VALORANT scene when VALORANT was first released with an org-less team called "Together we are terrific". A former Professional CS:GO player, mummAy and his team were acquired by Team Envy in July 2020. With Team Envy, the 28-year-old player played in more than 30 A-Tier and B-Tier tournaments and played for Team Envy for over a year. MummAy, who finished 1st place in VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers with Team Envy, has won the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters ticket. But unfortunately, they finished 4th in the North America Stage 1 Masters event. mummAy, joined Turtle Troop in February 2023 with his ex-teammate TiGG.

Two new signings by Turtle Troop are Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo and Will "dazzLe" Loafman. Rossy started his career at Immortals. After spending about 6 months there, he joined TSM's 2022 VALORANT roster in January 2022. Rossy played for TSM for about 8 months. The 19-year-old was finally picked up by FaZe Clan in February 2023, where he played for 2 months. 19-year-old American player Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo, is one of today's most promising players by playing in major esports organizations such as TSM and FaZe Clan, after signing a contract with Immortals at a mere age of 17.
The second pickup, dazzLe, spent 6 months in Ghost Gaming and nearly a year in Luminosity Gaming. The former Professional CS:GO player participated in several North American qualifiers with Ghost Gaming and Luminosity Gaming. For the last 9 months, he has been competing with Shopify Rebellion, where he won B-tier tournaments such as BoomTV VALORANT Select, Knights Arena Freezeout.
*Turtle Troop, the org-less American team, changed its name from Squirtle Squad to Turtle Troop on January 28, 2023.
Turtle Troop will compete with its revamped roster for the first time at VCT 2023 - Challengers League North America: Split 2.
