TSM add Brax to create 6-man roster
In some of the biggest news yet post-Masters, TSM have added Braxton "Brax" Pierce to their roster. They’ll be running a 6-player system moving forward. The move was originally reported by Rush B Media.
Brax was let go by T1 on February 8th, following almost 11 months with the team. Widely known as the first VALORANT pro ever signed, Brax and T1 struggled on and off throughout the Ignition Series in 2020. Eventually, they figured things out for First Strike, looking like one of the best teams at the event, though they’d lose in the quarterfinals to eventual champions 100 Thieves. The performance wasn’t enough to keep Brax and Keven "AZK" Larivière on the roster, though, and they were let go.
TSM, in the meantime, have been massively struggling in the VALORANT Champions Tour. They’ve looked very poor ever since placing second at First Strike, only making a single Challengers event in Stage 1, VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 3, when the four top teams had already qualified. Even at that, they struggled, failing to qualify for VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America Masters.
Brax will make TSM a 6-man lineup. It’s been noticed on multiple occasions recently that James "hazed" Cobb has not been practicing with the team.
TSM is now:
Stephen “reltuC” Cutler James “hazed” Cobb Matthew “WARDELL” Yu Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik Taylor “drone” Johnson Braxton “Brax” Pierce
Taylor “Tailored” Broomall (Coach)
