Trippy becomes FaZe Clan's head coach
FaZe Clan have announced Thomas “Trippy” Schappy as their head coach.
It’s been a poorly kept secret that Trippy has been working with the team for some time. And it is very obvious how it’s paid off. While their VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 2 performance left many fans disappointed, they roared back in VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - North America - Challengers 3, winning in dominant fashion to secure the fifth seed for Masters. FaZe showed some strategic depth and improvement throughout the event, earning praise from all sides of the community, and while of course it’s impossible to know how much of that can be attributed to the coach, he’s certainly a common factor.
FaZe Clan will head into Masters looking to continue their form and snag an even higher placement. Their first match will be against XSET on March 11th.
