TNL Esports acquire Quantum Strikers ahead of Korean First Strike Finals
Originally formed as an academy squad for DRX, Quantum Strikers have been among the better squads in South Korea for some time. With a win at Clan Battle Act 2 #4 and having qualified for the First Strike Korea Regional Final, it’s become clear they deserve an organization of their own. Today, they’ve received it, as the lineup has been acquired by TNL Esports.
The roster consists of Lee "GODLIKE" Seo-ha, Yu "TS" Tae-seok, Kim "Efina" Nak-Yeon, Yeom "eKo" Wang-ryong, and Park "exy" Geun-cheol. TS typically serves as the team’s Jett, with GODLIKE on Breach, Efina on Cypher, and eKo and exy sharing the roles of Omen, Sova, and secondary fragger between them as needed. TS leads the statistics department for the team, boasting 268 ACS and 1.5 KD in his recorded matches.
eKo and exy were not originally members of the team - at first, their spots were occupied by Kim "CoSa" Jin-hyeong and Park "ParkJJong" Jong-eun respectively. However, since they’ve joined, results have greatly improved for Quantum Strikers. The team will make their debut under the TNL Esports banner next week at the First Strike Regional Finals on LAN at LoL Park in Seoul, and they’ll be hoping to continue their recent string of success. The team’s first match will be against NUTURN.
