Team Vitality sign Kicks
Team Vitality continue their rebuild for the upcoming season in EMEA. The organization recently signed runneR, surprising many. Today, Vitality announced their second signing of the season, Kimmie "Kicks" Laasner. Now, they have four players on their active roster.
In 2023, Team Vitality had a rather middling season. The organization began with a 9th-16th place finish in VCT 2023 LOCK//IN and followed it up with a 5th-6th place performance in the VCT 2023 EMEA League. Throughout the season, we were all deeply saddened by the news of Twisten, a loss that affected the entire VALORANT community. As the season drew to a close, Vitality made the decision to part ways with BONECOLD and MOLSI.
Kicks is the second signing of Vitality
Kicks started his professional career with London Esports, and shortly after signing a contract, he left the team and joined Team Finest. He spent around five months with the organization and switched to BONK. His last stop was Laterious, where he competed in VALORANT Challengers 2023 DACH: Evolution Split 2. The Estonian player is sitting at a 1.16 rating and a 1.13 K/D. In the past year, he had 19 KAY/O games, and he picked Sage 17 times. He is definitely a KAY/O monster, as he held a 1.28 rating with the agent in 401 rounds.
After today’s announcement, Vitality’s active roster now consists of four players, and they are:
- Tomas “Destrian” Linikas
- Jokūbas “ceNder” Labutis
- Emil “runneR” Trajkovski
- Kimmie Laasner
- Robert “Mulgan” Mulgan (Manager)
- Salah “salah” Barakat (Head Coach)
- Harry “Gorilla” Mepham (Assistant Coach)
- Marcus “marcus_askildsen” Askildsen (Performance Coach)
- Joseph “Strong” Edwards (Positional Coach)
