Despite their regional success in 2021, the Brazilian esports team Team Vikings has announced that the roster is disbanded and they will be looking for fresh talent for the upcoming VCT season.

Team Vikings signed the roster right before VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Brazil - Challengers 1 and they managed to keep the players together to benefit from their chemistry in the later stages. Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi, Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro, Gustavo "gtn" Moura, Gabriel "sutecas" Dias, and Leandro "frz" Gomes managed to win the first-ever major tournament in Brazil, VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Brazil Masters. They became one of the strongest teams in the region in a short amount of time and we saw them winning the VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Brazil - Challengers Finals to qualify for VCT 2021 - Stage 2 - Masters Reykjavík, where they managed to get a 5th-6th place.

Even though losing the VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Brazil - Challengers Playoffs to Vivo Keyd Stars, Team Vikings qualified for VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 to represent their region. The Brazilian team showed some impressive performances throughout the tournament before getting eliminated by Team Secret in the group stage.

Their new roster will be clear before the start of the VCT 2022 circuit. On the other hand, all their players are already being rumoured to join other Brazilian teams such as Ninjas in Pyjamas, new organisation Loud and more so we will definitely be hearing some surprising news in the upcoming days.

The disbanded Team Vikings roster included:

Brazil Leandro "frz" Gomes Argentina Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro Brazil Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi Brazil Gabriel "sutecas" Dias Brazil Gustavo "gtn" Moura
