Team Liquid let ScreaM and Nivera go yesterday to rebuild the roster ahead of VCT 2023. According to today’s announcement, the organization has signed three new players to fill the spots of ScreaM, Nivera, and dimasick. The Russian duo, nAts, and Redgar have joined the team alongside Sayf, who has recently parted ways with Guild Esports. Team Liquid decided to keep soulcas and Jamppi within the roster to finalize the VCT 2023 lineup.

Despite having average results regionally, Team Liquid made it to both VALORANT Champions in history. However, this year there is a huge change in the roster. As mentioned above, ScreaM left the team to join another EMEA team and since the beginning of his career, he was the most important piece of the Liquid roster for sure. After parting ways with the “One Tap God” Liquid signed some of the best-performing players in the region, announced today. The new roster looks slightly different than the previous one in terms of play styles.

Jamppi and soulcas have remained within the organization. The duo had important performances last year and they will continue to compete for the sake of TL in the upcoming season. The ex-M3 Champions players, Redgar and nAts are two of the new players. Both were important pieces of the M3C roster and after disbanding the team, the duo decided to stick together and join TL together. Sayf will be the fifth to finalize the roster. He previously played for Guild Esports and he was one of the prominent players alongside Leo. Guild got rejected for a spot in the partnership league but Sayf managed to find himself a team at the highest level possible. nAts holds the highest rating in the team with a solid 1.17.

Team Liquid’s roster for the upcoming season is:

United Kingdom Dom "soulcas" Sulcas Finland Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen Russian Federation Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin Russian Federation Igor "Redgar" Vlasov Sweden Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel

United Kingdom Eamon "cauzed" Drea (Manager) Sweden Emil "eMIL" Sandgren (Coach) United States Tanner "7Teen" Curtis (Performance Coach) United Kingdom Jake "Bacon9" Lloyd (Analyst)
