Red Bull has announced that Team Heretics are going to replace BIG at VCT 2022 OFF SEASON - Red Bull Home Ground 2022 which will be held offline in Manchester. BIG had reached the main event by winning the EMEA Qualifiers but the German organization won’t be a part of the tournament. This means we will have a chance to see four VCT 2023 EMEA League teams compete against each other before the season start.

As there is plenty of time left for Red Bull Home Ground, announcements are being made by the tournament organizer. Lastly, Red Bul announced that the North American organization 100 Thieves joined the lineup, and today another piece of news came from the company. Team Heretics will replace BIG in Manchester. BIG qualified for the main event by winning the EMEA Qualifiers. Team Heretics will fill their spot and compete against some of the best teams of EMEA and NA.

Team Heretics built a roster that looked very strong and the organization took its first exam at VCT OFF SEASON - VALORANT India Invitational. Despite having a decent run until the grand final stage, Paper Rex took the EMEA representatives down in four maps. Heretics now have a second chance to show their capabilities, this time against western teams.

Apart from Heretics, six more teams had been announced before. 100 Thieves, KRÜ Esports, Team Liquid, FUT Esports, FOKUS, and Team Vitality are also going to compete in Manchester. Red Bull Home Ground will see eight of the best VALORANT teams go head to head in December, broadcast from Victoria Warehouse, Manchester.

Team Heretics roster for the event is:

Spain Oscar Cañellas "m1xwell" Colocho France Cista "keloqz" Wassim Poland Aleksander "zeek" Zygmunt Denmark Auni "AvovA" Chahade Lithuania Ričardas "Boo" Lukaševičius

United Kingdom Neil "neilzinho" Finlay (Head Coach) United Kingdom Brandon "weber" Weber (Coach)
