T1 sign CS:GO legend Skadoodle as their fifth member
Well-known esports organization T1 has been slowly signing a very powerful VALORANT roster. They signed Braxton “Brax” Pierce before the closed beta even released, then followed that up with the signings of Keven “AZK” Larivière, Austin “crashies” Roberts, and Victor “food” Wong. Today, the organization revealed their last player as legendary CS:GO player and streamer, Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham.
Skadoodle will be a familiar face to tactical shooter fans as a longtime member of Cloud9’s CS:GO team. Cloud9 and Skadoodle were incredibly successful, including winning North America’s first-ever major, ELEAGUE Boston 2018. After his retirement in 2018, Skadoodle became a streamer, routinely pulling 1000s of viewers at a time. And now, Latham will be switching over to VALORANT.
Skadoodle, Brax, and AZK actually go way back to iBUYPOWER in CS:GO, considered one of the best teams in North America before a match-fixing scandal that left Brax and AZK banned. More recently, the trio has participated in several VALORANT tournaments together. The three won the 100 Thieves Invitational and the T1 Invitational together, and placed second in the ESPN Esports Invitational and the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational. Skadoodle has become known for some of his highlights plays on the agent Omen. It’s safe to say that Skadoodle is no slouch alongside his other star teammates.
T1 have now completed their roster, and on paper, it’s the most star-studded we’ve seen so far. Will their star power be enough to overcome their opponents?
T1 Gaming's completed roster is:
Braxton "Brax" Pierce Keven "AZK" Larivière Austin "crashies" Roberts Victor "food" Wong Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
