T1 Korea officially add Harry and Anaks
T1 Korea began in August, when they signed Korean team RESET. Following lackluster results and finding some success with roster swaps, though, T1 have officially added Kim "Harry" Han-gyu and Ye "Anaks" Sang-jun to make their starting five.
Initially, T1’s entry into Korean VALORANT was underwhelming, with the roster falling out in the quarterfinals of the Clan Masters 2020. Harry and Anaks have been playing in place of Kwak "FrosteN" Joon-hwan and Kim "Sunday" Min-soo since the Clan Battle Act 2 #1, and ever since their arrival, T1’s results have turned around massively. They tied for 5th place after Clan Battle Act 2 with GOnGO Prince, easily securing their place in the First Strike Korea: Closed Qualifier. They also placed second in the APE VALORANT Battle. But by far T1 Korea’s biggest success came in the A.W EXTREME MASTERS ASIA INVITATIONAL, where they placed second and came one map away from beating DRX to win the inter-Asian competition. Harry has picked up the Cypher role for the team, posting 186 ACS and 1.17 KD throughout his time with them, while Anaks has been a star on Jett with 248 ACS and 1.33 KD.
Anaks and Harry have helped turn T1 Korea into one of the best teams in the region. They’ve nearly taken down the giant that is Vision Strikers and it would be a massive shock to see them not qualify for First Strike. Now that the duo have officially joined the team, they can put 100% of their focus into another run at Vision Strikers and the Korean crown.
T1 Korea are now:
Jeong “Esperanza” Jin-cheol Choi “10X” Jin-woo Kim “ROCK3T” Min-soo Kim “Harry” Han-gyu Ye “Anaks” Sang-jun
Yoo “Locomotive” Jung-sun
