Spacestation release their roster
In the second such announcement in just a few days, after Dignitas on March 31st, Spacestation Gaming have announced that they’ve dropped their VALORANT roster.
Spacestation entered VALORANT in late August of 2020, signing the Bloom roster that had taken TSM to the limit in the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational. Slowly, they tinkered with the roster until Daniel "roca" Gustaferri was the only original member left, adding Kelden "Boostio" Pupello, Magno "Pr0phie" Ramos, and most recently David "DXN" Nguyen and Derrek "Derrek" Ha on trial. However, they struggled to grab good results. They failed to make any Challengers event in VCT Stage 1, and fell to NRG in the first open qualifier of Stage 2. In non-Riot events as well, they’ve consistently fallen behind other signed rosters.
Despite the results and the dropping of the roster, there’s still fantastic pieces here for any organization to pick up. Spacestation also note that they “will continue to support VALORANT and look at different initiatives in the future.” For now, all of Spacestation’s roster - roca, Boostio, Pr0phie, trials DXN and Derrek, and coach Tristan “Ranger” Pehrson - are free agents.
