Korean esports organization T1 are reportedly close to signing Ham "iZu" Woo-joo, former Jadeite player. The source close to THESPIKE confirmed that he has been trialing with them for a solid amount of time.

He is reported to take on a more flex role for the team while Ha "Sayaplayer" Jeong-woo will continue playing the Duelist role.

The source also confirmed to us that T1 are also trialing for another role on the team. While it has not been confirmed who would be signed as the second player, it was reported that multiple players have requested tryouts for the role at hand.

The fact that T1 are willing to take a punt on tryouts from various regions indicates that they are willing to go international.

It remains to be seen who gets dropped from the roster. T1 are currently running a six-man VALORANT roster. However, it is also worth mentioning that they are invited to play at the KCX3 next month against Karmine Corp.. This leads us to believe that we could see the whole roster in action sooner than expected.

iZu primarily played the Duelist role at Jadeite where he excelled and took the scene by storm. He was the highest rated player on the Jadeite roster and the best Duelist in VCL Japan for the 2023 competitive season. The Korean is expected to be T1's first pick up of the off-season as the rostermania is starting to pickup.
