Sources: EXCEL to add FoxieGG and ALIVE
According to multiple sources, EXCEL is close to complete deals with Tyler "Foxie" Lowton and Gilad "ALIVE" Hakim.
On April 7, EXCEL officially announced the move to bench Oscar "ozzy" Scott and Dragan "elllement" Milanović. The main reason for this decision was XL's poor performance in the VCT 2022 - EMEA Promotion Tournament. The players were strongly hoping to qualify for VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event after being champions of VRL - Northern Europe: Polaris - Stage 1 - Main Event.
Due to the removal of two players from the squad, EXCEL had to look for replacements. The new leader of the British organization will be FoxieGG. The Briton played for Team Queso last season. The start of the VRL - Spain: Rising - Stage 1 - Main Event was really great for the European team but later the performance of the whole team was disappointing as Queso was quickly dropped in the playoffs.
On the other hand, the new duelist in XL will be ALIVE. For the past few months, the Israeli has been a player for Team Finest, where ambitions, however, were also much higher. Unluckily, Finest played in the VRL - East: Relegation, where they lost against Enterprise Esports and were relegated from the league. Now ALIVE will have the opportunity to prove his worth again in his new team, EXCEL.
The second season of Valorant Regional League Northern Europe: Polaris will begin in mid-May, so we can expect the official debut of the new lineup then. An official announcement can be expected soon.
Now EXCEL should be:
Muhammad "Moe" Hariff Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski Egor "chiwawa" Stepanyuk Tyler "Foxie" Lowton Gilad "ALIVE" HakimJimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson (Head coach) Sam "Fields" Greenfield (Assistant coach)
