After spending three years with the organization, Dom "soulcas" Sulcas announced that he has left Team Liquid and is now looking for a new home to continue playing VALORANT professionally in the upcoming season.

Soulcas has been with Team Liquid since 2020

Soulcas joined Team Liquid in 2020 and played for the team until now. The journey started with First Strike Europe, and he was with the team when Team Liquid joined the VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Challengers 1 challenge. Throughout his journey, soulcas won the VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals. During this time, Team Liquid won the Red Bull Home Ground 2 tournament and reached the semifinals of VALORANT Champions 2021. The 2022 season wasn’t the best for Team Liquid as they struggled both regionally and internationally. TL still made it to VALORANT Champions 2022 and placed 7th-8th.

At the beginning of 2023, Team Liquid, of course, got accepted to franchising and formed a very competitive roster, with soulcas being one of the few members to stay with the organization from the previous year. Liquid looked pretty weak at VCT 2023 LOCK//IN, but they showed their true strengths at VCT 2023 EMEA League. In the remainder of the season, Liquid placed 5th-6th at VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and 13th-16th at VALORANT Champions 2023.

Liquid fans respect Soulcas, who has been very loyal to the organization in the last three years. He is currently sitting at a 1.01 rating and a 1.07 K/D. soulcas’ most-picked Agents in the past year were Fade and KAY/O, both with 13 picks.

“These 3 years have been the most adventurous and exciting times of my life. Eternally grateful for all the staff and players at Liquid who supported me in my journey with all the ups and downs and it was a place that just felt like home and I will forever cherish that. So I just wanted to say a big genuine thank you to everyone at Team Liquid, I will really miss you all,” soulcas said in his farewell tweet.
