SoaR bench b0ssy; no active members remain on roster
Muhtadi "b0ssy" Al-Sammarraee announced that he will start exploring his options while remaining on SoaR’s roster as an inactive player. With this announcement, the SoaR has no members on their official roster, which might hint to a complete roster revamp in the near future or a departure from the Valorant scene altogether.
b0ssy became part of the SoaR roster after the organization acquired PUGSTARS in April 2021. Entering the esports scene almost a year after its release meant that they would require time to adjust to its extremely competitive nature. Although they didn’t qualify for any VCT Challenger events, they participated in several NSG tournaments, Pittsburgh Knights Monthly Gauntlets – albeit with limited success.
Throughout the year, they only managed to secure a couple of 1st place finishes in NSG 2022 Winter Championship - Online Open 2 and Pittsburgh Knights Monthly Gauntlet 2021 - October: Dance of the Skulls in October 2021, and a handful of spots on the leaderboard. Following the conclusion of NSG 2022 Winter Championship - Online Open 8, where SoaR placed 2nd, the team started to disband with Alexander "Zander" Dituri leaving to Version1 and Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban to XSET leaving b0ssy as the roster’s sole member. He is a very versatile player and finds no difficulty adjusting playing different agents when he is asked to. In the past three months, he has taken the role of Jett, Kay/O, Skye and Raze with an average rating of 0.97 and 204 ACS, which are above-average statistics for the role he plays.
Since Muhtadi "b0ssy" Al-Sammarraee was the only member of the roster before being benched, the SoaR roster currently does not have any active players.
