Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty has returned to his head coach role for Sentinels. He will be responsible for the roster on their way to the second stage, starting with the qualifiers.

Sentinels’ descending graphic continues as they face loss after loss in North America. To stop the fall, they made the first big change a while ago by benching Jared "zombs" Gitlin and signing Eric "Kanpeki" Xu from Akrew as covered. The change wasn’t enough as Sentinels faced a hard loss against Luminosity Gaming during VCT 2022 - North America - Stage 2 - Open Qualifier 1 and failed to qualify for the main event. Despite Tyson "TenZ" Ngo’s 63-kill performance, they still couldn’t finish the job in the lower bracket. It turns out that the board was looking to strengthen the coaching staff as they turned their attention back to Rawkus.

Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty had the best times of his career while coaching Sentinels as he coached the team during the biggest tournament of the year. He was originally a professional player for FaZe Clan but he “took that offer immediately without thinking twice or looking for other opportunities” in his words. He coached the team during VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021 but Sentinels’ run ended after the group stage, finishing the tournament without reaching the playoffs. Rawkus left the team as the loan period ended and also due to “buyout complications” and went back to FaZe Clan to compete but he never played for the team again. Now, he is back with SEN as a coach for the upcoming tournaments.

Sentinels’ current roster is:

Canada Tyson "TenZ" Ngo United States Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan United States Hunter "SicK" Mims United States Michael "dapr" Gulino United States Eric "Kanpeki" Xu

United States Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty (Coach)
