seangares' rich CS:GO career

In the highest level of North American Counter-Strike, seangares has been a part of multiple lineups that went the distance. With the help of B2B Gaming and the teams of Swag, n0thing, and Semphis, he won his first ESEA Invite championship. Together with Hiko and Semphis, he was a member of the Area51, a squad that finished third at the 2012 ESWC. He had a brief hiatus from CS:GO before making a return in 2013, the year compLexity was established.

On August 1, 2014, his squad left CoL and joined Cloud9; he continued to play for Cloud9 until November 24, 2015, when he retired from professional gaming. On December 10, 2015, he made his debut as a commentator and analyst at the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 Finals. Sean resumed competitive gaming in January 2016 and put together a team alongside Mohamad "m0E" Assad. Afterwards, Torqued would be acquired by Echo Fox, where Sean would work with his former teammate Ryan "fREAKAZOiD" Abadir to refine a roster. The squad would disband less than a year after it was branded as Echo Fox. Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan, current player of G2 VALORANT, went to Team SoloMid with Sean.

After having a disagreement with Team SoloMid's owner, Sean left the company after less than 10 days. The group would depart from the company and proceeded to make their own org under the name Misfits. The group chose to add French pug talents François "AmaNEk" Delaunay and David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic when Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken left. The group had both highs and lows. The squad would make a miraculous run in the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals before falling to SK Gaming, the current #1 team.

At the first major of 2018, the team's ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals run did not receive any support. The group would lose in the challengers round. Days later, Sean would reveal that Misfits had been dissolved and their withdrawal from the scene was complete, along with the dismissal of him and his American comrades from the roster. Later, Sean would work as the analyst for the Legends stage of the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 as well as do other minor analyst tasks, winning over the fans.
