Sangal Esports are one of the most popular Turkish organizations, hosting one of their region’s best Counter-Strike:Global Offensive squads. While only being around for three years, the organization wants to get their foot in the door of another competitive shooter, VALORANT.
They started their roster in late August with the signing of former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player, Berk "Rip" Tepe. Shortly after that, they welcomed ex-LOL- member, Muhammed "mini" Salman, to the squad who by himself has achieved top eight at Trovo Challenge - Europe. To join mini and Rip, they transition Beyazit "beyAz" Körpe from the back-up spot in CS:GO to an active player in their VALORANT roster.
beyAz has played through two regions in CS:GO, starting his professional career with Epsilon’s French roster, being runner up in ESL Belgian Championship Winter 2018 and third at DreamHack Tours 2018’s BYOC event. The 23 year old then went on to transition to playing in the Turkish scene, with Turkey5 and Demise, where he qualified for many events, including eXTREMLAND CS:GO Asia 2019.
The French Turk made his switch into VALORANT with StartedFromCS, where he had early success, winning LeStream x BMW and a 3rd-4th at Epulze Valorant Prodigies. His Cypher play was extremely useful to the French team, helping the squad clinch a runner up at Rise of Titans. After the team’s disbanding, beyAz has remained relatively quiet, but was seen playing Raze for L'institut at Occitanie Esports - 2020, where he averaged an insane 258 ACS and 1.43 KD.
Now he repeats history, moving from French based squads into the Turkish organization of Sangal Esports who look to rival other teams in the region, including BBL Esports and Oxygen Esports. We now await announcements of the other members who might help the roster be one of, if not the best in the region.
After transitioning beyAz, Sangal Esports is:
Berk "Rip" Tepe Muhammed "mini" Salman Beyazit "beyAz" Körpe
