Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final Details Announced

Red Bull Campus Clutch is the major Valorant tournament for university students all over the globe. It is a grassroots esports initiative geared at bringing student Valorant esports players of all skill levels face-to-face as they team up and compete against each other. Originally starting its first season in 2021, the Red Bull Campus Clutch showcased the immense talents these students have, and some went on to establish themselves in the Valorant pro scene.

This year they're doing the same, but they've upped the ante, with 4500 teams taking part, 25,000 participants and over 300 national events. The Red Bull Campus Clutch 2022 is an event like no other, with Intel HUC, SteelSeries, Backforce and AGON by AOC as the official partners, providing cutting-edge hardware for the tournament.

Today on the 8th of November, they finally announced the details of the world finals. The Red Bull Campus Clutch - 2022 - World Finals is bringing some of the best talent the student Valorant scene has to offer. 50 National final-winning teams are taking part in this in-person LAN event, with €20,000 in prize money up for grabs, as well as an exclusive VIP experience at a 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour event.

Details on the Format of the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Finals

These remaining teams will battle it out in a single/double elimination format, and there will be eight groups in the Qualifiers.

• The top team from each group will advance to the quarter-finals (Best of 3 matches)
• The four quarter-final winners will advance to the semi-finals (Best of 3 matches)
• The two semi-final winners will then battle it out in the Grand Final (Best of 5 matches)

The Grand Final event will take place in Brazil, Sao Paulo, at the Estádio do Pacaembu on the 16th of December 2022. Estádio do Pacaembu is a legendary stadium that saw the final match of football legend; Pele in Brazilian national colours. The stadium has also played host to FIFA world cup matches.

Asides from having some of the most amazing student Valorant talent, they will also have some of the best commentary teams, with expert casters and analysts coming in to host the event. Seasoned casters, Iain Chambers and Loviel "Velly" Cardwell, will head up the hosting desk, with support from expert analysts Alex "Vansilli" Nguyen, Jessica "Jess" Bolden, Ethan "Sully" Tran, John Allen, Peter "Kremer3" Kremer and local legend, Gustavo "Upmind" Franco Domingues.
