Pittsburgh Knights bring in Exalt to replace dawn
Ahead of VCT Stage 2, Pittsburgh Knights are yet another team that has made a roster swap in an attempt to reach the top. Anthony "dawn" Hagopian has left the team, while Drake "Exalt" Branly has come in to replace him.
dawn has been with Pittsburgh Knights since they were signed, and has played multiple roles, but lately has been running on the Jett as Damion "XXiF" Cook seems to have transitioned full-time into the Sentinel role. Knights have always been a very solid roster with a ton of firepower, but have struggled to break into the upper echelon of teams, and it seems this is what has prompted the move, as the team has been performing up to their normal standards as of late.
Bringing Exalt in is a big move, though, and adds even more firepower to the already powerful lineup. Formerly of Elevate and Headshot Percentage, Exalt has earned praise on multiple occasions for his Jett/Operator play, including the big win over T1. He’s already played NSG Nerd Street Gamers Monthly - March with the team, where Knights went out in the round of 16 to Noble.
On paper, with Exalt and Jack "xCeeD" Holiman on duelists while XXiF plays the Cypher, Knights have built a very strong roster. What remains to be seen, though, is whether or not they can bring it to its full potential.
Pittsburgh Knights now field:
Damion “XXiF” Cook Terry “dsr” Rioux Jack “xCeeD” Holiman Jacob “FugLy” Medina Drake “Exalt” Branly
Kyle “OCEAN” O’Brien (Coach)
