Patiphan to miss VCT 2023 LOCK//IN due to wrist surgery
Due to required surgery on his wrist, the star player of Talon Esports, Patiphan "patt" Chaiwong, won’t be flying to Brazil with his team to compete at VCT 2023 LOCK//IN. Patiphan will need more time for rehabilitation purposes, and staying in Thailand would be better for him, according to the announcement made by Talon Esports.
Talon Esports without Patiphan
Talon Esports are one of the most famous esports organizations in the region, but we haven’t seen much from them in VALORANT. They were going to play their first major tournament in Sao Paulo. Unfortunately, they won’t be able to compete with their full roster. Patiphan’s wrist surgery will surely affect their performance, but Talon already has a 6-player roster. Patiphan’s absence will be filled with the sixth player while he concentrates on his rehabilitation in Thailand.
It is no secret that esports players are prone to injuries, mainly targeting their hands and wrists. Unfortunately, Patiphan has found himself to be among those players. Talon Esports, doctors, his family, and Patiphan, came to the conclusion that staying in Thailand and not attending the LOCK//IN tournament is for the best. Rather than performing n Brazil, he will concentrate on his recovery and be ready for the VCT 2023 Pacific League.
Patiphan is one of the most known players in the region. He brings important firepower to any team he plays for. Not only in VALORANT, but he was also a respected player in the professional Overwatch community. He is currently holding a 1.20 rating and a 1.25 K/D in VALORANT.
