Michael "dapr" Gulino has joined Oxygen Esports, while Rustun "Rustun" Lusk has returned to the assistant coach role.

dapr has joined Oxygen Esports

dapr started his VALORANT career when the Sentinels, the most well-known team in North America, acquired an orgless team called "together we are terrific", of which he was a part. The 24-year-old spent exactly 2 and a half years with the Sentinels. Here with the dapr team, he finished first in almost every Stage 1 and Stage 2 Challenger tournaments in North America in 2021 and qualified for the VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík. In Reykjavík, the team continued its superior play and reached the grand final. Facing Fnatic in the grand final, dapr and his teammates won the match 3:0 with a perfect game without giving Fnatic any chance and finished the tournament with the championship. After lifting the trophy in Reykjavík, dapr and his friends continued their strong play and dominated North America in the Stage 3 Challengers, defeating the likes of XSET and 100T. When it came to the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin, the last masters champion squad, which was seen as a big favorite, managed to come out of the groups with 2 wins and 1 loss, but they lost 2:0 to Team Envy in the quarterfinals and said goodbye to the tournament early. About 3 months after Berlin, dapr and his friends had the chance to show themselves in the World arena again and participated in VALORANT Champions 2021. Although they won their first group match against FURIA in Champions, they lost to Liquid and KRÜ esports respectively, and finished the tournament in 9th-12th place.

After the Champions' defeat, the Sentinels slowly began to part ways with the Masters Champion squad after failing to impress the North American Challengers in early 2022. dapr's amazing Sentinels journey came to an end when he was benched in October 2022 and left the team 2 months later in December 2022 to join G2 Esports.

During his 7 months at G2 Esports, Gulino participated in 4 Challengers tournaments, but neither he nor the team had a good start and did not get good results. Following these results, dapr left G2 Esports in July 2023, having joined in December 2022.

Oxygen Esports had good momentum with the Turkish roster it set out in 2020 with Mavera, XiSTOU, Turko, toronto, and m1tez and showed itself in Challengers tournaments. But it parted ways with the Turkish roster at the end of 2022 without achieving the success it wanted. In December 2022, Oxygen Esports transitioned to a North American lineup, with Rustun as an assistant coach, and includes names like mitch, who previously played in Cloud9. The team garnered popularity after placing fourth in the Midseason competition and qualified for VCL NA: Challengers. After Joshua "pwny" VanGorder left, Rustun switched to an active player position before Split 2. Oxygen Esports entered the playoffs with a 3-2 record, where they placed fourth overall.

Oxygen Epsorts' new signing, dapr, is a player who is in the spotlight and seems to be hungry for new success with his new team.
