OG finalize new roster with three new players
After dropping 3 members of the team just a matter of weeks ago, OG Esports have quickly found their replacements for the upcoming VCT Stage 3. They have added Harry "DPS" MacGill and former honk members Tomas "Destrian" Linikas & Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko.
With VCT Stage 3 just around the corner, an OG looking to make a mark and improve their standings in the EMEA circuit points, where they currently have zero points. With no points to their name, improving the talent around the 2 mainstays was a clear necessity.
First up, after originally joining the roster as a temporary stand-in back in April, DPS will now be moved to a more permanent position with the team. Primarily a controller agent on his previous teams, DPS will look to continue to hone his Sova skills moving forward as the main initiator for the squad. Across 7 maps in VCT Stage 2, he finished with an ACS of 207, a number that is very high for anyone playing the Sova agent.
The other two additions are both former HONK players, who were forced to look elsewhere for a team after the roster decided to disband despite many well placing tournaments. For OG, the decision was easy as the org had this to say about the new members "Two youngsters eager to win, nothing better to energize our troops." From that statement alone, OG has high hopes for this new roster. Over 2300 rounds, Trexx has an impressive ACS of 266, including 1.4 K/D and a .9 kills per round. As for Destrian, it is very likely that he will continue to main Astra or Viper, just as he did for HONK.
With these additions, OG is now:
Benjamin “uNKOE” Chevasson Kevin “TviQ” Lindström Harry "DPS" MacGill Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko Tomas "Destrian" Linikas
Julien “daemoN” Ducros (coach/manager) Tanishq "Tanizhq" Sabharwal (coach/manager)
