MOUZ reveal their VALORANT roster
The legendary name in esports, mousesports, reveal their VALORANT roster ahead of VRL - DACH: Evolution - Stage 1 - Main Event.
For anyone who doesn’t know who mousesports are, they have been one of the biggest names in esports for over 20 years, collecting numerous awards, honours and major titles across multiple esport titles. It had been no secret that MOUZ were looking to dive into VALORANT and as the rumours suggested, they picked up the European mixed team MMix who bring a vast amount of top tier experience.
The Mmix team was put together for the VRL - DACH: Evolution - Stage 1 - Open Qualifier in which they qualified for the main event, however, it wasn’t to be the dream emphatic start to their dominance in the DACH region. They were pushed all the way by Angry Titans in the Upper Bracket Round of 16 and a close series against CGN Esports in the Upper Bracket Quarter Final but managed to get this victory and qualify for the main event.
Felix "al0rante" Brandl yesterday announced his departure from Team Heretics after a string of disappointing results and failure to qualify for VCT Stage 1 Europe Challengers. Saidi "Amilwa" Amine, former Team Heretics team mate of al0rante will once again be reunited in this mixed European lineup.
James "Kryptix" Affleck, who was inactive on the Team Liquid lineup, joins only his second team within his VALORANT career, giving that fish123 signed with Team Liquid in the early days of VALORANT. Kryptix was benched from TL at the back end of September and had not featured in any events until the VRL DACH qualifier with Mmix. The Brit will bring his long standing experience in VALORANT to the German based organization which will be vital to their short amount of experience together as team.
The remaining players are former Rix.GG Thunder players, Joseph "Luzuh" Loose & Laurent "memset" Werly. Luzuh has had past experience playing with Kryptix back in his CSGO career and now looks to reignite that partnership heading into VRL DACH and VCT Europe Stage 2 qualifiers. Memset, who only joined Rix.Thunder back in late October, hadn’t gained much experience playing in the top flight but being surrounded by the experienced players, the Frenchman will look to excel himself and prove he has what it takes to represent such a prestigious name in Esports.
MOUZ lineup is as follows:
