Breeze was first introduced in VALORANT Episode 2.08, and since then, it has received minor changes, but unfortunately, the player base wasn’t happy with those changes. Finally, in Episode 6, the developers removed Breeze and Bind from the map pool, introduced a new map Lotus, and reintroduced Split with a minor rework.

Although there was no time period given by the devs for the return of the maps. In Bind came back to the map pool back with a minor rework in Episode 6, Act 3, removing Icebox from the map pool. Finally, after eight months since Breeze was removed from the competitive queue, it will be returning in the upcoming VALORANT Episode 7 Act 2. This announcement was made on the official VALORANT X account. The X post includes changes in Mid Pillar and Mid Cubby, A and B sites, and more. Here are the changes you can expect on Bind in the upcoming VALORANT Episode 7 Act 2 update:

After Breeze joins the competitive queue, the maps in the current rotation will be Ascent, Bind, Breeze, Haven, Lotus, Split, and a new map which is likely to be announced in VALORANT Champions LA 2023 . The removal of Fracture and Pearl is being criticized by a lot of professional players instead of Haven and Ascent, which have received little to no changes for a very long time.
