Luminosity Gaming have announced the release of Justin "Ksiaze" Goszczynski, setting more pieces in motion for the readjustment and rebuild they’ve been going through.

Ksiaze joined the team from Rise shortly before the PULSE Series to function as their Jett/Operator player, and helped the team to a great success in his debut as they finished second. In the intervening time, though, things haven’t been going as well for Luminosity. They tied for last at the Renegades x NSG VALORANT Invitational - admittedly without Brady "thief" Dever - then failed for qualify for the First Strike North America Regional Final, falling out in each closed qualifier.

Ksiaze’s departure comes after Zachary "Venerated" Roach left the team prior to First Strike.

Adam "mada" Pampuch has been playing in his place on the Sova role, currently boasting 176 ACS and 0.88 KD, though nothing about his status with the team has been officially announced.

All this leaves Luminosity with three players officially signed and one on trial. They’ll be looking for a duelist to replace Ksiaze, though it’s likely we will see any announcement before First Strike is completed.

Luminosity Gaming are:

United States Alex “aproto” Protopapas United States Brenden “stellar” McGrath United States Brady “thief” Dever Canada Adam “mada” Pampuch (Trial)
